It seems these little bloodsuckers just won't go away.  No matter how much Deet you put on, we are certain it won't keep these bastards away.  So beware the woods.  Get out there, immerse yourself in nature but be careful.  Lyme Disease is a very real thing & if you live here on Long Island you know that it is here to stay.  Awareness is the best defense next to checking every nook & cranny after that walk though the woods or any outdoor wilderness place.
