Burnwell Illuminaries by Barnaby Black are handmade, fine wax candles inspired by the exquisite nature of imagination, the textures of foreigns lands, the discovery of aromatic places in time, both past and unknown.
The mighty hardwood so prevalent to the New York landscape. The Black Walnut spreads its branches wide and provides shelter and food for so much wildlife. In autumn it drops it's green nuts that soon sprout new and mighty trees. Forever succeeding the new wilderness forest.
NOTE: We tried to recreate the scent of the green hulled nuts after they drop to the ground. The citrusy spice is like nothing else...not lying. We nailed it!!!!
Scent Notes: lemon peel, antique stain, field spice, pine needle, cardamom
2.5 oz. votive. Cotton wick. Hand poured in recycled glass
Ingredients: eco-soy wax, beeswax, essential oils, natural resins & fine fragrance
No Parabens. No Phthalates. No Chemicals. No Dyes.
When burning your candle for the first time, allow it to burn for 2 to 3 hours, until the top layer of the wax has completely melted. This will prevent the wax from tunneling around the wick.
Ideally, we recommend keeping the wick trimmed to 1/4 inch at all times to prevent the candle from emitting smoke or the wick falling into the wax.
After each burn, see that the wick is centered in the wax. This will also ensure that the glass does not overheat. The wick and flame should never be touching the glass.
Please make sure to never leave a lit candle unattended or let it burn for more than 4 hours at a time. A lit candle should also only be placed on a flat, heat-resistant surface.
Keep the candle out of reach of children and pets.
