Inspired by our favorite place to discover plants to use in our fragrances--The Quagmire.  The soft, mossy, wetlands inside the darkest of forests.  Coastal pine stands that give way to white cedar swamps where the most fragrant flowers bloom.  Sweet pepperbush hangs rich & buttery in the air.  Now the delicate lemony, floral notes on the water's edge where the water lilies are in full bloom.  Just a step away onto drier soil, the native rhododendron are having a party with the bees.  This is the swamplands that share space with the Pine Barrens.  You might never know the true beauty of such a place where folktales are born, but the quagmire is such a place.
