Burnwell Illuminaries by Barnaby Black are handmade, fine wax candles inspired by the exquisite nature of imagination, the textures of foreigns lands, the discovery of aromatic places in time, both past and unknown.
1969, this time long gone but never forgotten. Perfect lines out on the horizon, sets rolling in, barrel after barrel, under the Hawaiian, morning sun. There's a girl from California, oiled up & bronzed, putting surf wax on her longboard. She has a flower in her hair, a cold beer next to her & she offers to roll one before we get out into the water. We share a puff & the perfect day cutting up some waves.
Scent Notes: maile flower, coco butter, surf wax, sinsemilla flower
9 oz. Cotton wick. 50+hrs burn time. Hand poured in recycled glass
Ingredients: eco-soy wax, beeswax, essential oils, natural resins & fine fragrance
When burning your candle for the first time, allow it to burn for 2 to 3 hours, until the top layer of the wax has completely melted. This will prevent the wax from tunneling around the wick.
Ideally, we recommend keeping the wick trimmed to 1/4 inch at all times to prevent the candle from emitting smoke or the wick falling into the wax.
After each burn, see that the wick is centered in the wax. This will also ensure that the glass does not overheat. The wick and flame should never be touching the glass.
Please make sure to never leave a lit candle unattended or let it burn for more than 4 hours at a time. A lit candle should also only be placed on a flat, heat-resistant surface.
Keep the candle out of reach of children and pets.
