Creosote Bush is one of the oldest, living plants on the planet.  One specimen. in the Mojave, is thought to be over 10,000 yrs old.  Native to the deserts of the southwest, this amazing plant  is used by Native Americans for many applications from herbal remedies to curative recipes.  In the desert, at first rain, you can smell a sweet & almost electric energy.  When the the rains subside that air remains - creosote tinged & the true essence of the desert southwest.
