Burnwell Illuminaries by Barnaby Black are handmade, fine wax candles inspired by the exquisite nature of imagination, the textures of foreigns lands, the discovery of aromatic places in time, both past and unknown.
It is believed that watermelons were first cultivated in the Kalahari Desert. All we know is that watermelons are amazing. A symbol of summer in all its glory. Don't ask us why we named this one Aztec Watermelon. Other than it smelling like sweet, fresh, juicy melons...we have no idea. Maybe it sounds cool. Maybe the Aztecs revered these as much as the rest of the world. Maybe...just who cares...cut that sucker and get messy. If that's not your thing we have a candle for you.
Scent Notes: juicy watermelon cucumber water, green mint, cassia bark
9 oz. Cotton wick. 50+hrs burn time. Hand poured in recycled glass
Ingredients: eco-soy wax, beeswax, essential oils, natural resins & fine fragrance
No Parabens. No Phthalates. No Chemicals. No Dyes.
When burning your candle for the first time, allow it to burn for 2 to 3 hours, until the top layer of the wax has completely melted. This will prevent the wax from tunneling around the wick.
Ideally, we recommend keeping the wick trimmed to 1/4 inch at all times to prevent the candle from emitting smoke or the wick falling into the wax.
After each burn, see that the wick is centered in the wax. This will also ensure that the glass does not overheat. The wick and flame should never be touching the glass.
Please make sure to never leave a lit candle unattended or let it burn for more than 4 hours at a time. A lit candle should also only be placed on a flat, heat-resistant surface.
Keep the candle out of reach of children and pets.
