Sleepy Hollow Spruce Oil

Filed from the Hudson River, where old stories gather beneath the spruce.

October is our favorite month, and fall our favorite season. Every year, we make the trip to Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow to stir the imagination. The cemetery’s history is hard to resist: from one of its highest points, the Hudson opens toward Manhattan. Near Poet’s Mound stands a great Norway spruce, dripping with the resinous, earthy material we look for in our work. This seasonal moisturizing oil is our way of carrying that spruce scent with us.

The Oil

A plant-based, all-over oil made with organic apricot kernel and sweet almond oils, live plant infusions, spruce pitch and resin, and steam-distilled essential oils. Formulated to moisturize skin and hair, with the pure, green character of spruce at its center.

How to Use

• Massage into skin, face, or hair, especially after a hot shower.
• Add a few drops to a bath.

Ingredients

Organic apricot kernel oil, organic sweet almond oil, live plant infusions, spruce pitch and resin, and steam-distilled essential oils.

Plant-based. No added dyes or preservatives.
