Autumn Ethereal

Marsten & Marwood is the curious collection of peculiar fragrances handmade by Barnaby Black. Formulated with natural aromatics, raw botanicals, and fine fragrance materials, each scent is a small study in place, memory, and atmosphere.

Autumn Ethereal hangs between the last warmth of summer and the first clear whisper of fall. It is the smell of orchard air, weathered barns, wool coats, and fields going quiet just before dusk.

The Scent

Green cognac and orchard apple open with the bright sweetness of the first cider press. Sweet grass and tobacco leaf carry the fragrance into the field, while violet leaf, lavender, Javan vetiver, oakwood, and lichen settle into a cool, resinous woodland warmth.
